Abstract:
This doctoral thesis develops computational methods for RNA biology. The first part presents novel evolutionary algorithms for RNA inverse folding using Lévy-flight-inspired mutation strategies that efficiently explore sequence space. The second part studies RNA folding kinetics using Fast Fourier Transform-based pathway prediction. Together, the work advances the computational toolkit for RNA design and functional analysis.
